CISCO + BEVIN WEDDING MEMORIES

Greetings from the newlywed Conrows! What a joy it is to write that phrase! You say it's been almost a year?? Well, it's gone by in a blink for us. Year One of our 'Ever After' has been a wonderful, busy, sweet time of transition and adjustment. We did the wedding. We did the honeymoon. And now we are doing LIFE. And life together is sweet indeed.

We are still filled with so many thanks, and truly touched, by how our friends and loved ones poured into our lives this year happiness, congrats, gifts, and wise counsel. Our connectedness today is not solely of our own doing, but of God’s amazing grace in our lives, and the village of dear ones at our sides.

Hawaii was pretty much the most amazing place ever! We are so grateful to each of you who helped make this tropical adventure possible. Cisco still reminisces about his road trip around the island, and Bevin misses the huge sea turtles she followed around until they grew bored with her.

Thanks to many of you, we got some furniture. Purged some stuff on Craigslist. Painted a room or two. (Here Bevin will mercifully spare you the complete list of DIY home improvement projects she dove into with abandon… suffice it to say that neither paint cans nor sewing machine left the living room space for several months.)

You’re welcome.

Pop Quiz: IRS audit or new marriage. Which of these leaves you buried up to your eyebrows in more confusing paperwork? Umm, new health insurance, retirement, budgets, credit cards, name change… complete financial overhaul anyone?? Moving on.

Despite record breaking frigid temperatures this winter, Cisco still went out for the occasional run, ever the Californian at heart. Christmas in Oregon and Birthdays in Charleston, South Carolina with the best shrimp & grits known to man. Such a brutal winter… so many snow days they extended the school year.

Spring brings life! The garden is planted with Cisco’s signature herbs, jalapenos, and tomatoes for his famous guacamole. Bevin has given up on all ground cover and has now resorted to moss. …It’s slow going.

Our love grows! Bevin’s dear Matron of Honor, Lindsay, welcomed Baby Sadie into the world. Our “Bridesmaid From Afar”, Amy, welcomed Baby John just in time to celebrate our wedding from a distance, babe in arms, in Washington DC. Mike and Jenn welcomed Baby Hugo. Both honorary flower girls, Lily and Lucia, turned ONE. Cisco’s Grandma Maureen turns NINETY this week! Cisco’s Dad, Doug, retired, and Flower Girl, Wren, is ready for kindergarten! Also, our Moms are on the move: Blanca is preparing for a mission trip to Peru, and Marian is planning her dream trip to Paris. Up next?? Bridesmaid Cori & Samant whose wedding date is 2 months from today, and Bevin's sister Erin & Scott set for September 2016!! We cannot wait to celebrate with you!!!! (And possibly help you create a post-wedding website, because they take a really long time…)

Blessings and Hugs to you all, our dear ones! Drop us a line; we’d love to hear what this year has brought for you!! You are in our thoughts and prayers and photo albums. :-)

XOXO,

Cisco & Bevin
